BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) _ Rocky Mountain football coach Rick Ulrich announced his resignation to become running backs coach at Fordham.
Ulrich had a 7-23 record in three seasons at the NAIA Division II school, but that included eight forfeits last season for using an ineligible player.
''It is the right situation for us,'' Ulrich said Sunday. ''You'll always have doubts if you made the right decision, but something inside tells you when it's the right one.''
Prior to joining Rocky in 1989 as offensive coordinator, Ulrich coached at Albany State and Princeton.
