WINTER WEATHER-NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND: Some places in northern New England are going to see some light snow, but it’s just a prelude to the big one this weekend.

DARTMOUTH-BIOMASS: Dartmouth College says it’s planning to invest $200 million in a wood-burning power plant and hot water heating, and convert steam pipes in more than 110 buildings on campus.
