Australia wins by 218, takes 2-0 lead in Ashes

ADELAIDE, Australia (AP) — Australia dismissed England for 312 on Monday morning to win the 2nd test by 218 runs and take a 2-0 lead in the five-match Ashes series.

Scores:

Australia 570-9 declared (Michael Clarke 148, Brad Haddin 118, Chris Rogers 72; Stuart Broad 3-98, Ben Stokes 2-70) and 132-3 declared (David Warner 83 not out; Jimmy Anderson 2-19) def. England 172 (Ian Bell 72 not out, Michael Carberry 60; Mitchell Johnson 7-40) and 312 (Joe Root 87, Matt Prior 69, Kevin Pietersen 53; Peter Siddle 4-57, Ryan Harris 3-54).
