Power slowly returning to NC State campus
Water in a utility tunnel under North Carolina State University caused a power outage to much of the Raleigh campus on Friday.
The power went out shortly after noon, and crews closed the intersection of Dan Allen Drive and Yarbrough Drive so they could pump the water out and make needed repairs.
Power was restored to most buildings by 4 p.m.
Students are already on winter break, so no classes were disrupted.
