PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ The Philadelphia Flyers re-signed center Daymond Langkow to a two-year contract, president and general manager Bob Clarke said Friday.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Langkow, 22, had 14 goals and 19 assists with 39 penalty minutes in 78 games for the Flyers and Tampa Bay Lightning last season.

He has played in 229 NHL games, with 37 goals and 47 assists and 136 penalty minutes. He was drafted from Tri-City of the Western Hockey League by the Lightning in the first round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.
