CENTURY PANTHERS

Coach says: “This team more than many of the teams I have had the privilege of coaching shows solidarity in what they want to attain. They are excited to create their own culture and leadership that will distinguish the 2018 cross country team at Century and are working towards achieving goals that are unique to their place and time in the conference.”

The team will be led by senior Captain Caleb Feda (16:57) who was injured and did not run in the Conference or Section 1AA meet. He is the first JM runner to break 17 minutes since Jake Houghton did it in 2013. A strong junior class returns led by Dakota Dowd, who ran 17:26 in the Section 1AA meet. Other juniors returning and who will contribute are Captain Ogden Sikel ((18:02), Captain Andrew Novak (18:14), and Jonathan Devlin (18:26).

Coach says: “We got hit hard by graduation with five of the team’s top ten runners graduating. Caleb Feda provides much needed leadership. Several juniors have varsity experience which is helpful. Competition for varsity positions should drive improved performances.”
