New Progress Building going to host the second Localization Pop Up Show of art, music, film and fashion
HUNTINGTON - Get a taste of some local art, music and more as the second Localization Pop Up Show takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Progress Building, 418 8th St. (across from the courthouse).
The free event feature performances by Static Fur, Juvenscence, Joey Andromeda and PSP as well as locally created and curated art for sale includes fashion, photography, paintings, printmaking, illustration, ceramics and film.
Localization is a movement to create a more frequent exposure of Huntington-area artisans, said organizer Marshall University student Lilly Dyer.
The Localization Afterparty, at The V Club, 741 6th Ave., Huntington, features The Dividends, Ducain and Johnny Conqueroo. There is a $10 cover fee or $7 if one attends the Pop Up Show before. Attendees must be 18 years old or older.
