SALT LAKE CITY _ The head of the U.S. Census Bureau has sought to ease the minds of people in Utah about a proposed citizenship question on next year’s census questionnaire. SENT: 400 words.


_ OIL-UTAH RAILROAD: An eastern Utah economic development group has selected an investment firm for a public-private partnership to finance and build a proposed rail line to provide freight service that would connect the Uintah Basin oil reserves with distant markets.

_SUBSTATION SHOOTINGS: A 59-year-old Utah man has admitted shooting at power substations, including one where damage knocked out power to two counties.

_ AIR FORCE SQUADRON-TRANSFER: The Air Force plans to transfer a unit that evaluates bombs and other weapons to Hill Air Force Base in Utah from Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

_ HEALTH CARE ON WHEELS: A Salt Lake City clinic will soon bring medical care to the streets.
