Tape Face, of ‘America’s Got Talent’ fame, sticks with Ridgefield Playhouse
“America’s Got Talent” star Tape Face returns to perform at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, March 14.
“Mime with noise, stand-up with no talking, drama with no acting” is how the playhouse described the family friendly show in a news release.
In addition to “AGT” in 2016, where he reached the finals and where judge Simon Cowell compared him to modern-day Charlie Chaplin, Tape Face also competed on “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.”
Tape Face has toured the U.S. twice, completed a sold-out 52-date tour of some of the UK’s most iconic venues and successfully persuaded a Spice Girl to wear a toilet seat on her head live on TV in front of an audience of over 14 million, the playhouse said.
Ridgefield Playhouse, 80 E. Ridge. Thursday, March 14, 7 p.m. $140 (meet-and-package), $40. 203-438-5795.
