Police blotter: Seven jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE — Seven people have been jailed on felony charges since Wednesday afternoon, according to booking records kept at the Western Regional Jail.

Reginald Maurice Grimes, 46, was jailed at 2 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a probation violation and being a fugitive from justice. Bond was not set.

Paul Everett Balentine, 39, was jailed at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with driving on a revoked license for DUI, having no proof of insurance and improper registration. Bond was not set.

Justin Page Cambell, 36, was jailed at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was picked up by authorities in Cabell County in connection with a felony warrant. Bond was not set.

Cammie Leanne Carr, 30, was jailed at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with third-offense shoplifting and contributing to a delinquency of a minor. Bond was not set.

Tyriah McClendon, 36, was jailed at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with grand larceny and possession with intent to deliver. Bond was not set.

Kenneth Dale Spears, 55, was jailed at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was not set.

Austin Dwayne Gatewood, 18, was jailed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with burglary and destruction of property. Bond was $15,000 surety.
