Fire burns 13 acres of brush in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a 13-acre brush fire on the northeast edge of Los Angeles.
The fire was reported at 7:55 p.m. Thursday in the Sunland-Tujunga area.
More than 160 firefighters battled the fire, with help from helicopters, until the flames were knocked down at midnight.
The fire initially threatened homes in the Riverwood area but no structures were damaged, and there were no injuries.
