Oro Valley police say woman’s death appears to be accidental
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Police in Oro Valley say a missing woman who first appeared to be the victim of a suspicious death likely died in some sort of an accident.
Authorities were looking for 19-year-old Caitlin Flanagan and her vehicle on Monday.
Officers were dispatched to a building after the woman’s car was found in a parking lot around. Police searched the area and found Flanagan’s body on a second-floor exterior patio.
The death was initially considered suspicious.
But the Oro Valley Police Criminal Investigations Unit processed the scene and reviewed video surveillance before determining Flanagan’s death appears to be accidental.
No other details have been released and police say their investigation is continuing.
