Belfast man charged with rocket attack on police post
BELFAST, Northern Ireland (AP) _ A Belfast man appeared in court today to face charges of conspiracy to murder in connection with an IRA rocket attack on a police post.
Brendan Hugh McIlvenny, 27, did not enter a plea, but his attorney said he would plead innocent.
A police officer was injured in the attack Monday by members of the Irish Republican Army. Police said they had a videotape linking McIlvenny to the attack.
