CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery was 3 cents to $5.81 a bushel; September corn was 4 cents higher at $4.3260 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $2.6775 bushel; while November soybeans gained 9.60 cents at 10.1575 cents a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was .75 cent loweer at $1.4875 a pound; August feeder cattle was .10 cent lower at $2.1165 a pound; August lean hogs gained .80 cent to $.7408 a pound.
