It is with great sadness that the family of Marie G. Hoffman, of Kankakee, announces her passing. Marie was born in Manteno and passed away Dec. 22, 2018, at the age of 82; left to mourn are her family and friends. Family and friends may send flowers and condolences in memory of Marie. She is survived in death by Herman (Butch) Giese, her partner of 32 years, and his son, Brandon; her son, Patrick Wehr, of Temecula, Calif.; her daughter, Kathleen (Ted) Dukelow, of Sapulpa, Okla.; her grandchildren, Evan (Sheena) Prout, Matthew (Elizabeth) Prout, Jasmine (Mitch) Haan and Ryan Wehr; great-grandchild, Rayland Prout, son of Evan (Sheena) Prout; also a very special person in her life, Michelle Cauley Schaller.
She also is survived by her loving brother, Robert (Bob) Tetrault, and his wife, Kathleen, of Fort Meyers, Fla.
She also was cherished by nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Her family would also like to send a special thanks to the Smith family for all of their help and kindness.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leopold Tetrault and Lucille Caron Tetrault; her children, Michael Wehr and Susan Hoffman; and her siblings, Catherine Blair, Blanche Hamende, Rita Tetrault, Dolor Tetrault, Richard Tetrault and Joseph Tetrault.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Deacon Patrick Skelly will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Kankakee.
