Police: Suspects robbed, pushed man down stairs
STAMFORD — A man was thrown down a flight of stairs this morning after two men allegedly robbed and attacked him in Stamford’s South End, police said.
The 27-year-old man told police he was dropped off by a taxi at his home on Pacific Street around 12:30 a.m. Monday and was followed by two men up the back stairs to his third-floor apartment.
The man said the two suspects assaulted him, and took his cellphone and wallet, which had $300 inside. Then, he said, they threw him down the stairs.
The suspects were apparently captured on a nearby business camera. They were described as two men between 15 and 18 years old. One was wearing a long-sleeve white shirt, and the other was wearing a hoodie, according to police.
