Child struck by car, hospitalized
BOSTON (AP) — A child has been hospitalized due to injuries sustained when a car hit him.
NBC 10 Boston reports a five-year-old was struck by a car in Lowell on Saturday, and was taken by Medflight to a hospital in Boston.
Lowell police say the boy was playing outside and ran into the street between two parked cars, resulting in the crash.
He was conscious and alert while being transported. No further information is available on his condition.
