WIDE RECEIVERS

JON BARNES, Clayton Cleveland, WR, Sr., 6-0, 170 _ Caught 69 passes for 1,075 yards and 13 TDs.

JASON BILLINGSLEA, New Hanover, WR, Sr., 5-11, 180 _ Had 38 catches for 788 yards, averaging 20.7 yards per grab. Missed the first three games with an injury to fall short of a 1,000-yard season.

GAVIN BLACKWELL, Indian Trail Sun Valley, WR, So., 6-1, 175 _ Had 51 catches for 1,136 yards and 19 touchdowns. Has nine Division I offers.

ELIJAH BOWICK, Charlotte Myers Park, WR, Sr., 6-1, 215 _ Had 62 catches for 1,424 yards and 17 touchdowns. Had 27 catches for 760 yards and six touchdowns in four state playoff games. Has three straight 1,000-yard seasons. Has more than 50 career TD receptions. Shrine Bowl pick. Committed to Virginia Tech.

NOAH BURNETTE, Raleigh Leesville Road, WR, Jr., 5-10, 155 _ Caught 70 passes for 1,353 yards and 12 touchdowns. Also made 10 of 15 field goals, with a long of 52 yards, and 34 of 35 extra points.

DESMOND CALDWELL, Morganton Freedom, WR, So., 6-0, 180 _ Had 58 catches for 1,190 yards and 13 touchdowns. Also ran for a score. Had touchdowns on kick and punt returns. First-team all-county pick. All-conference pick. Set a single-season county record with receiving yardage. Set a single-game county record with 225 yards receiving against Alexander Central. Scored a total of 16 touchdowns. Led county in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

NYIER CLARK, Charlotte Vance, WR, Sr., 6-0, 185 _ Had 66 catches for 1,380 yards and 12 touchdowns. Averaged 35 yards per kickoff return with three touchdowns.

KEYVAUN COBB, Arden Christ School, WR, Sr. _ Had 1,502 yards of offense, 733 on receptions and 769 on rushes. Ran for eight touchdowns and had seven TD catches. Returned two kick returns for touchdowns.

DIOVANNI DALEY, Shelby, WR, Jr. _ Caught 54 passes for 1,033 yards and 12 touchdowns. Offensive MVP of the 2-AA title game.

KALIN ENSLEY, Hendersonville, WR/QB/DB, Sr. _ Caught 52 passes for 1,054 yards and 12 touchdowns. Also rushed for 512 yards with six TDs and added four touchdowns on returns. Finished season with 1,958 all-purpose yards. Also had four interceptions and 37 tackles on defense. Conference special teams player of the year.

JACOB GILL, Raleigh Cardinal Gibbons, WR, So., 6-0, 160 _ Caught 74 passes for 1,170 and 18 touchdowns.

CEDRIC GRAY, Charlotte Ardrey Kell, WR/LB, Jr., 6-3, 195 _ Had 55 catches for 891 yards with 10 touchdowns. Had an 80-yard catch. All-conference pick who also had 65 total tackles with seven tackles for loss, four sacks, 11 pressures and four breakups.

CARTER GRIFFITH, Clayton Cleveland, WR, Sr., 6-4, 180 _ Caught 62 passes for 1,171 yards and 12 TDs.

DONAVON GREENE, Mount Airy, WR, Sr., 6-2, 190 _ See player of the year nominations.

NOLAN GROULX, Charlotte Hough, WR, Sr., 5-11, 185 _ Had 55 catches for 857 yards, averaging more than 16 yards per reception. Had six touchdowns. School’s career leader in receptions (130) and receiving yards (1,958) in two years. Ranked as senior class’ No. 4 prospect in the state’s senior class by 247sports. AP all-state pick in 2016. Committed to Wake Forest.

JALEN HOUSTON, West Rowan, WR, Jr., 5-8, 165 _ Had 37 catches for 904 yards and 17 touchdowns. All-county pick. Conference offensive player of the year.

IAN HUTTER, Waxhaw Marvin Ridge, WR, Jr., 5-10, 170 _ Had 76 catches for 899 yards and five touchdowns.

CJ JOHNSON, Greenville Conley, WR/ATH, Sr., 6-2, 215 _ Had 77 catches for 1,701 yards and 23 touchdowns. Also had 39 carries for 520 yards and 14 TDs. Threw two touchdown passes. Averaged 39.9 yards on 40 punts with 12 inside the 20-yard line. AP all-state pick last year. Committed to East Carolina.

WILL KAKAVITSAS, Charlotte Providence, WR, 6-1, 170 _ Had 54 catches for 874 yards and 12 touchdowns. Conference offensive player of the year. AP all-state pick last year.

JUSTIN OLSON, North Mecklenburg, WR/PR/KOR, Sr., 6-3, 195 _ Had 61 catches for 1,116 yards and 14 touchdowns. Returned four punts for touchdowns and one kickoff for a score. Had 20 scholarship offers before signing with UNC.

FAMOUS PASLEY, Asheville, WR, Sr. _ Had 72 catches for 1,189 yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging 16 yards per catch. All-conference pick.

KOBE PAYSOUR, Kings Mountain, WR, So., 6-2, 175 _ Had 79 catches for 1,675 yards and 26 touchdowns for state semifinalist. Has several major college offers.

KAEDIN ROBINSON, Arden Christ School, WR, Sr. _ Had 94 catches for 1,686 yards and 23 touchdowns. Averaged 140.5 yards per game and 17.9 yards per catch. NCISAA all-state first-team pick.

PORTER ROOKS, Charlotte Providence Day, WR, Jr., 6-2, 190 _ Had 58 catches for 728 yards and 11 touchdowns despite not playing in the second half of four games due to lopsided scores. Also played QB and RB, running for 128 yards and three touchdowns to go with a passing score. Considered by many the top-rated WR in the state and has been named among top-100 national lists. Played in 11 games. All-conference and NCISAA all-state pick for two straight years.

EMERY SIMMONS, Hope Mills South View, WR, Sr. _ Had 67 receptions for 1,336 yards and 18 touchdowns. Returned three punts and a kickoff for touchdowns. Had 69 tackles and three interceptions on defense. School’s all-time leader in receiving yards and catches. All-conference pick. Shrine Bowl pick. Signed with UNC.

AYDAN WHITE, Arden Christ School, WR, Jr. _ Had 60 catches for 1,049 yards and 11 touchdowns. Averaged 95.4 yards per game and 17.5 yards per grab.

TIGHT ENDS

RICKY KOFOED, Charlotte Christian, TE/DE, Sr., 6-3, 225 _ Had 26 catches for 446 yards and five touchdowns. Also had 55 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and three blocked kicks on defense. Committed to Appalachian State.

JEREMIAH ROSSER, Charlotte Olympic, TE/H-BACK, 5-11, 215 _ Had 563 yards and eight touchdowns receiving. Also averaged 25.8 yards on kickoff returns with a touchdown. All-conference pick.

KAM WALKER, Canton Pisgah, TE _ Shrine Bowl pick. USA Today North Carolina second team. Committed to N.C. State.

ANDRE WHITE, Charlotte Vance, TE, Sr., 6-1, 225, Had more than 1,400 yards rushing and receiving combined. Accounted for a school-record 25 touchdowns this season. Committed to Charlotte.
