November 18, 2018

"Paint Your Pet Party" is set to take place Saturday, Nov. 24 at Petiquette's School and Salon, 578 Depot St. in Barboursville.

BARBOURSVILLE— Pets are best friends with unconditional love. Even though pets may not always be picture perfect, the Petiquette Canine Charm School and Salon has an event to create a forever pet portrait.

“Paint Your Pet Party” is set to take place Saturday, Nov. 24 at Petiquette’s School and Salon, 578 Depot Street in Barboursville. Cost is $25 and proceeds will benefit Advocates Saving Adoptable Pets (ASAP) veterinary fund.

To be ready for the Paint Your Pet Party, a good picture of your pet will need to be submitted no later than Monday, Nov. 19 to Petiquette. This will ensure a sketch of the pet is done in time for the painting party. Painting instructor is Joni Sutherland Suttle.

Registration for the Paint Your Pet Party will be at 11 a.m. on Nov. 24 and participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food item to donate to the House for Hope Food Pantry.

To make the event a bonafide pet party, pets will be available for adoption and a raffle will be held towards the end of the event.
