Mad Ants populate Pacers’ roster

September 22, 2018

The Indiana Pacers’ training camp roster was unveiled today and it includes former Mad Ants players Ben Moore, Ike Anigbogu, Edmond Sumner and T.J. Leaf.

Sumner, a second-year player, is on a two-way contract to allow him to move between the NBA and G League, in which the Mad Ants play.

The Pacers signed Omari Johnson and Moore on Friday.

Johnson’s rights were acquired by the Mad Ants on Wednesday from the G League’s Memphis Hustle for the rights to Jarrod Uthoff, a former NBA player, and Chris Fowler. Johnson averaged 16.5 points and 6.4 rebounds last season for the Hustle, and he also played four NBA games for the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Pacers’ training camp opens Tuesday.
