‘Tech Tuesday Talks’ at Leominster Library
LEOMINSTER -- Are you the proud owner of new tech products this holiday season? Leominster Public Library keeps the spirit of gift-giving going by providing many ways to make the most of your new computer, tablet, or smartphone.
For the month of January, the library is celebrating technology. Every Tuesday afternoon, it will host “Tech Tuesday Talks,” 30-minute presentations with Q&A time to follow. Attend any or all events. All talks start at 2 p.m., in the library’s large meeting room.
Coordinator Cassandra Hall will present “Instagram in an Instant.” an overview of Instagram and how to use it, Tuesday, Jan. 8.
On Tuesday, Jan. 15, “Demystify Microsoft Word” will be led by Technology and Reference Librarian Brittany Recker.
“Meet Libby” will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22, with Recker who will give an overview of the digital library collection Overdrive, its app, “Libby,” and how to use the “library on the go.”
The final tech talk is Tuesday, Jan. 29. “Google Drive & More,” presented by Hall, will give an overview of Google Drive and other “G Suite” applications, as well as how to use them.
