PHOENIX (AP) _ Korie Hlede scored all 12 of her points in the second half as the Utah Starzz rallied from a 22-point deficit to beat the Phoenix Mercury 70-62 Friday night.

Adrienne Goodson scored a game-high 22 for the Starzz (14-17), who beat Phoenix for just the fourth time in 12 meetings between the teams.

Maria Stepanova recorded her sixth double-double in her first career start for the Mercury (15-17), who had their 11-game home winning streak snapped. Stepanova had 17 points and 11 rebounds and also blocked three shots to extend her streak of consecutive games with a block to 18.

Jennifer Gillom also had 17 points for Phoenix, who lost at home for the first time since July 9 against the Houston Comets.

Hlede hit a pair of 3-pointers, including the game-tying shot with 3:39 to go, as the Starzz pulled even 58-58. Natalie Williams added a free throw 42 seconds later to give Utah its first lead since it opened the game 3-0. Margo Dydek added a layup with 50.2 seconds to go to give the Starzz a 61-58 lead.

The Starzz outscored the Mercury 33-8 over the final 11:26.

Gillom scored 13 first-half points as the Mercury took a 38-20 lead. Phoenix extended the lead to 46-24 on Stepanova’s layup with 16:02 to go before the Starzz rallied.
