Genoa clubs to host St. Baldrick’s event for Genoa-Kingston student
GENOA – The Genoa-Kingston Impact Club and Genoa-Kingston United Way Youth group will host an event next month to benefit a Genoa-Kingston High School student recently diagnosed with leukemia.
The St. Baldrick’s head-shaving fundraising event to help Rosalia Najera is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at the high school library, 980 Park Ave.
Community members are encouraged to sign up to shave their head and/ or fund raise for children’s cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s foundation.
