Minnesota Guard Out for Season
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Minnesota reserve guard Aaron Robinson will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The sophomore will have surgery Friday to repair torn cartilage in his right knee, the school said Thursday.
Robinson is averaging 2.0 points, 1.3 assists and 11.3 minutes.
He was hurt just before halftime in a loss to Indiana on Tuesday. Minnesota (16-10, 8-7 Big Ten) finishes the regular season Sunday at Illinois. It will need a strong showing in the conference tournament next weekend to land a bid to the NCAA tournament.
