Vacant land owned by the school district
In addition to the small lot on Swanson Avenue, the Lake Havasu Unified School District owns other vacant land in Lake Havasu City. Most of it was given to the district by McCulloch Properties when the community was being established. Similarly, city founder Robert P. McCulloch also gave vacant land to churches.
The exception on this list is the Swanson Avenue vacant lot. It was given to the district in 2016 by Robert and Judith Bennett.
