2 children, adult die after Broken Arrow house fire
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) — Firefighters say two children and an adult have died following a house fire in Broken Arrow.
Deputy Fire Chief Phil Reid said the three were found inside the home and one was dead at the scene of the Monday morning fire. The other victims died at a hospital.
The names and ages of the three have not been released.
A relative says the mother of the children and wife of the man was not at home at the time of the fire, which was reported by passers-by who saw smoke coming from the home.
Reid said the cause of the fire has not been determined, but that it appears to have started around a floor furnace and does not appear suspicious.
