Andy Armstrong

School: Oregon State

Year: Junior

Hometown: Salem, Ore.

Position: Infielder

Height: 5-9

Weight: 191

Armstrong was a late arrival in Rochester last summer because he played for Oregon State, which won the College World Series. He appeared in 29 games, batting .168 with 10 RBIs. This year he is batting .229 for Oregon State with 11 RBIs in 47 games and has yet to commit an error.

Mitchell Allen

School: New Mexico State

Year: Junior

Hometown: Phoenix, AZ

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 6-0

Weight: 225

Allen joins the Honkers following his first year at New Mexico State, after playing his freshman and sophomore year at Glendale Community College. This year through May 17, he had tossed 14 1/3 innings as a reliever, posting a 6.28 ERA with four strikeouts and 12 walks. Coming out of high school, he was the 10th-ranked prospect in Arizona.

Landon Anderson

School: Cal State Fullerton

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Lakewood, CA

Position: Pitcher (LH)

Height: 6-4

Weight: 178 lbs

Anderson has made 11 appearances for Cal State Fullerton this year, including one start. He has tossed 16 2/3 innings and struck out 13 while posting an ERA of 9.18.

Shayne Audet

School: New England College

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Springfield, MA

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 6-0

Weight: 195 lbs

Audet, through his first 11 appearances this year (nine starts), had posted a 2.38 ERA over 56 2/3 innings, notching 85 strikeouts while walking 36. He had a record of 6-3. Batters were hitting .162 against him.

Mark Bisogno

School: Fordham

Year: Junior

Hometown: Staten Island, NY

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 6-0

Weight: 175 lbs

Bisogno has made 31 appearances in his three years at Fordham, all but two of them in relief. This year, he’s held opposing batters to a .238 batting average and hasn’t allowed an earned run in his last four appearances. As a sophomore, he toed the rubber four times and twice held opponents scoreless. His first year at Fordham, he made 10 appearances and once again didn’t allow a run in half of his outings. Bisogno attended Xavier High School where he unfortunately missed his senior season with an injury. However, his junior season was very successful as he earned team MVP honors. He posted a 1.74 earned run Average (ERA) in 48 innings on the mound, while striking out 55 batters and holding opponents to a 0.185 batting average. On top of that, he lead his team in most offensive categories, including batting average, slugging percentage, doubles, and triples.

Tim Borden II

School: Louisville

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Sellersburg, Ind.

Position: Infielder

Height: 6-2

Weight: 190 lbs

After graduating from Our Lady of Providence High School, Borden II was selected in the 37th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft by the Cleveland Indians and was the No. prospect in Indiana. In his senior year he hit .484 with six home runs, 12 doubles, 41 RBIs and 28 runs scored.

Logan Denholm

School: University of California-Davis

Year: Junior

Hometown: El Dorado Hills, CA

Position: Catcher

Height: 6-1

Weight: 195 lbs

Denholm returns for his second season as a Honker. Last summer, he hit a .217 batting average with 4 home runs and 16 runs RBIs. As a redshirt junior at California-Davis, he’s played in 39 games and is hitting .302 with 3 homers and 25 RBIs.

Ryan Dorney

School: Saint Martin’s University

Year: Senior

Hometown: Bothell, Wash.

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 6-2

Weight: 220

Dorney rejoins the Honkers for his fourth season in Rochester. This year at Saint Martin’s, he has a 3-3 record in 18 appearances with two saves and an ERA of 3.35. Batters are hitting .224 against him. Last summer in Rochester he appeared in 23 games for the Honkers, compiling a record of 2-4 with an ERA of 5.75.

Jake Dukart

School: Oregon State

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Lake Oswego, Ore.

Position: Infielder

Height: 6-2

Weight: 185 lbs

Coming out of high school, Dukart was selected in the 36th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by Boston but did not sign. He is a multi-sport athlete as he served as the backup quarterback for the Oregon State football team for part of the 2018 season; he left in September to join the Oregon State baseball team. So far this year he is hitting .221 with three doubles and 12 RBIs.

Henry George

School: Minnesota-Duluth

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Woodbury, Minn.

Position: Outfielder

Height: 5-8

Weight: 160 lbs

This season at UMD George leads his club with a .388 batting average in 43 games. He has 10 extra-base hits (7 doubles, 2 triples, and a homer) and 19 RBIs. He has stolen 19 bases while being caught just four times. As a freshman he had 37 RBIs at UMD.

Evan Larsen

School: Cal State Fullerton

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Costa Mesa, Calif.

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 6-4

Weight: 220 lbs

Larsen is seeing his first collegiate playing time this season after redshirting in 2017 and not appearing in any games last season. In six appearances, he’s recorded four strikeouts with a 6.00 ERA in nine innings.

David LeMasters

School: Lake Erie College

Year: Senior

Hometown: Cortland, Ohio

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 6-0

Weight: 195

Lemasters returns for his second summer with the Honkers. Last year he was one of the Northwoods League’s best starting pitchers before leaving halfway through the season. He had a 5-0 record for the Honkers and averaged a strikeout per inning. This spring at Lake Erie he has an ERA of 3.13 with 90 strikeouts in 69 innings and is tied for the team lead with seven wins.

Dwayne Marshall

School: Eastern Maryland Shore

Year: Junior

Hometown: Piscataway, NJ

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 6-2

Weight: 205 lbs

In his first start of 2019 for Maryland Eastern Shore, Marshall tossed a complete game shutout and was honored as Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Pitcher of the Week. So far this season he has pitched 60 innings, compiling a record of 3-5 and a 6.38 ERA.

Kyler McMahan

School: Oregon State

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Seattle

Position: Infield/outfield

Height: 5-10

Weight: 174 lbs

In his two years at Oregon State, McMahan has played in 58 games and has compiled a batting average of .234 with 10 doubles, a triple and 14 RBIs.

Ryan Middendorf

School: Lake Erie College

Year: Junior

Hometown: West Chester, OH

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 6-6

Weight: 205 lbs

Middendorf has made 12 appearances this year for Lake Erie, all of the as a starter, and has compiled a 7-3 record with an ERA of 3.29. He has two complete games and has tossed 76 innings with 61 strikeouts and just 20 walks.

A.J. Miller

School: Oregon

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Pataluma, Calif.

Position: First baseman

Height: 6-1

Weight: 217 lbs

Miller joins the Honkers after completing his freshman season at Oregon, where he played sparingly this year. At Casa Grande High School, he hit .385 with 12 doubles, 4 triples, and 25 runs RBIs as a senior. He was named the top-ranked first baseman in California and seventh in the country.

Logan Nissen

School: Bethan Lutheran

Year: Junior

Hometown: Olivia, Minn.

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 6-5

Weight: 225

Nissen was with the Honkers briefly last summer, tossing 14 innings in four appearances and posting an ERA of 2.57. He struck out 18 and yielded just nine hits. This year at Bethany Lutheran he has appeared in 17 games and has a 56 record. Opponents are hitting .260 against him.

Ryan Ober

School: Oregon State

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Snohomish, Wash.

Position: Infielder

Height: 5-11

Weight: 185 lbs

Ober has played in 42 games for Oregon State this year and is hitting .279 with nine doubles, three homers and 22 RBIs.

Will Oppenheim

School: Middlebury College

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Chicago

Position: Pitcher (LH)

Height: 6-2

Weight: 185 lbs

Oppenheim has yet to pitch in a game this season. As a freshman at Middlebury College he posted a 2-2 record with a 2.84 ERA. He pitched 19 innings and allowed 13 hits while striking out 18 batters.

Danny Oriente

School: Louisville

Year: Junior

Hometown: Downers Grove, Ill.

Position: Outfielder

Height: 6-0

Weight: 190 lbs

Through 42 games with Louisville this season, Oriente is hitting .318 with 14 doubles and 38 RBIs. He has struck out just 22 times in 141 at-bats.

Tristan Peterson

School: New Mexico State

Year: Junior

Hometown: Tucson, Ariz.

Position: First base

Height: 6-2

Weight: 230 lbs

Peterson has been a very tough out this year at New Mexico State. Through 49 games he is hitting .402 with nine doubles, one triple, 20 homers and stunning 88 RBIs. In one game against Texas Southern, he hit two homers and drove in seven runs.

Anthony Rodriguez

School: Monroe College

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Bronx, NY

Position: Pitcher (LH)

Height: 5-10

Weight: 190 lbs

Rodriguez transferred to Monroe College from North Carolina A&T University. So far this season he has made seven appearances, all in relief, and has a record of 1-1 with an ERA of 6.52. He has walked 12 batters and struck out nine.

Marty Tolson Jr.

School: Eastern Maryland Shore

Year: Junior

Hometown: Stafford, Va.

Position: Pitcher (RH)

Height: 5-10

Weight: 180 lbs

Tolson Jr. has a record of 0-8 this year, but he’s been victimized by bad defense and 19 unearned runs in his 12 appearances and has a solid ERA of 4.64. He has 53 strikeouts and has walked just 23 batters. He’s given up just four homers in 76 innings.

Vinny Tosti

School: Oregon

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Santa Rosa, Calif.

Position: Outfielder

Height: 6-0

Weight: 193 lbs

Tosti is batting .194 in limited action for Oregon during his freshman year. He was the 59th-ranked player in the nation and the seventh-ranked player in California as a high school senior.

Nathan Webb

School: University of California-Riverside

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Riverside, Calif.

Position: Infielder

Height: 5-10

Weight: 200 lbs

Through 48 games this season for California-Riverside, Webb is hitting .284 with 12 doubles, one triple, five homers and 28 RBIs.

Clayton Westrope

School: San Joaquin Delta College

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Livermore, CA

Position: Pitcher (LH)

Height: 6-0

Weight: 185 lbs

Westrope has made nine appearances so far this year, including five starts, and has a record of 4-0 with an ERA of 7.33. He’s averaging 10 strikeouts per nine innings and has yet to give up a homer. His high school team won the California state championship in his senior year.

Ryan Wrobleski

School: North Iowa Area Community College

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Eden Prairie, MN

Position: Catcher

Height: 6-0

Weight: 185 lbs

Wrobleski returns to Minnesota following his freshman season at North Iowa Area Community College, where he is hitting .432 with three homers and three doubles in his first 10 games, with nine RBIs. Next year he will play for Division I power Dallas Baptist University.

Zack Zaleski

School: Oregon State

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Corvallis, Ore.

Position: Outfielder

Height: 5-10

Weight: 184 lbs

Zalesky joins the Honkers after his redshirt sophomore season at Oregon State, where he has appeared in 12 games and his hitting .333 with a double and five RBIs.
