2 Mississippi high school students face gun charge
KILN, Miss. (AP) — Two students at a Mississippi high school are facing charges after one of the students sold a gun to the other on school grounds.
WLOX-TV reports both students were arrested for possession of a weapon on school property and possession of a stolen firearm. The student accused of taking the gun and selling it also is charged with petty larceny.
It was unknown if either of the juveniles, who attend Hancock High School, had attorneys.
Sheriff Ricky Adam says the mother of a 14-year-old reported a pistol was missing from her home last week. Authorities discovered her son had traded the gun while at school to another 14-year old.
