SUNDANCE, WYO. – Police in Sundance Wyo. are investigating a suspected homicide that occurred early Wednesday morning.

At around 2:25 a.m., Sundance police responded to a report of a physical altercation at the Sundance Travel Center located at 2732 E. Cleveland St.

“As a result of that altercation one person is deceased,” Sundance Police Chief Marty Noonan said. “We are investigating it as a homicide. I’ve asked for the assistance of the state DCI (Division of Criminal Investigation), and they’re actually taking over the investigation.”

Due to the ongoing status of the investigation, little information is being released about the victim, who was described by Noonan as a local adult male. Police are currently seeking two suspects in connection to the fatal altercation. Noonan said one was male and one was female who he descibed as local.
