Vendors welcomed to Christmas Crafts at Aiken County Farmers Market
Vendors who make crafts will have a special venue for selling their wares on Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 – the second and third Saturdays in December – at the Aiken County Farmers Market.
“Christmas Crafts at the Farmers Market have traditionally been very popular events for vendors and shoppers,” said Joe Patterson, manager of the Aiken County Farmers Market. “It is a great time to purchase unique holiday gifts made by local artisans. We welcome new vendors and invite them to apply to participate.”
Additionally, the market is hoping to add vendors who sell Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands.
Interested vendors should contact the market at 803-293-2214 or email@example.com.
Crafters at the market range from those who sell wood products, such as cutting boards and bird houses, to those who make and sell pottery to vendors who create chocolates, art, clothing, jewelry, soaps and candles.
While crafters are an integral part of the market, the focus remains on produce which is grown by area farmers. There also are vendors who sell milk, eggs, honey and baked goods.
The Aiken County Farmers Market is located at 115 Williamsburg St., half a mile from downtown Aiken.
It opens at sunrise (about 7 a.m.) and closes at noon on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, year-round.
