INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Sergei Klimovich and Craig Fisher scored shootout goals Friday night to give the Indianapolis Ice a 5-4 victory over Kalamazoo in the International Hockey League.

Indianapolis (5-3-1), a Chicago Blackhawks farm team, outscored Kalamazoo 2-1 in the shootout. Mike Needham was the only Wings (6-1-4) player to beat Christian Soucy.

Bogdan Savenko set an Ice team record with a goal just 18 seconds into the game. Tony Horacek, Gerry Skrypec and Bob Kellogg also scored for Indianapolis.

Mike Kennedy, Neil Brady, Zac Boyer and Mark Pederson scored for Kalamazoo, a Dallas Stars affiliate.
