Duke Energy to hold open house Thursday

FLORENCE, S.C. – Duke Energy will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Carver Elementary School in Florence.

Kodwo Ghartey-Tagoe, the state president of Duke Energy, will attend.

Duke Energy customers are invited to drop in and get their questions answered and learn more about how they can save energy and money.

Duke will offer:

Answers to billing questions.Details on energy efficiency programs.Information on the future of the smart-thinking grid.Lighting solutions.Free refreshments.

Customers who have questions about their account should bring a valid photo ID and their Duke Energy account number or previous electric bill.

Carver Elementary School is located at 515 N. Cashua Dr.
