Meeting scheduled for Gray post office relocation

January 16, 2019

A meeting has been scheduled to examine a new location for the Gray post office.

The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Jenner Township Municipal Building, 2058 Lincoln Highway, Boswell.

According to a press release from the United States Postal Service, a new location for the office has not yet been determined, and the public is invited to give input on where the new location should be within the same ZIP code.

There will be no impact to mail delivery for residents and businesses, and no change to box numbers or ZIP codes, according to the release.

Postal Service representatives are to be available at the meeting to take comments from the public.

USPS Western Pennsylvania media contact Tad Kelley did not return an email asking why the office is to be moved and how much it will cost by press deadline Tuesday.

The Postal Service will accept written comments about the proposal for 30 days following the meeting, according to the release.
