Between 9:23 a.m. on March 13 and 6:38 a.m. on March 22, police responded to 319 calls, including the following:
Jefferson Street: Police at 9:36 a.m. on March 13 cited Andrew J. Nasett, 19, of Pardeeville, for a third offense of operating after license suspension.
New Pinery Road: Police at 10:47 a.m. on March 13 referred a 12-year-old male student at Bartels Middle School for disorderly conduct and battery. Police reported the boy was uncontrollable and was held on the floor by school staff and handcuffed.
East Wisconsin Street: Police at 11:17 a.m. on March 13 responded to a two-vehicle crash and cited Patricia J. Hardyns, 61, of Portage, for failure to yield right of way.
Morning Star Drive: Police at 12:56 p.m. on March 13 referred Kelly W. Vandermark, 45, of Portage, to criminal court on a pending charge of not updating his place of employment with the State of Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry.
New Pinery Road and East Haertel Street: Police at 2:50 p.m. on March 13 cited Corey DeJuan Carroll, 29, of Nekoosa, for suspended registration of a vehicle and a second offense of operating without a license.
DeWitt Street: Police at 4:08 p.m. on March 13 arrested Justin P. Clay, 28, of Grand Marsh, on a Dane County warrant, for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, violation of probation/parole and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
New Pinery Road: Police at 6:41 p.m. on March 13 arrested Christopher Pierre Mire, 43, of Portage, on charges of first offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.
West Conant Street: Police at 7:17 a.m. on March 14 arrested a 36-year-old Pardeeville male on charges of domestic disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and false imprisonment.
New Pinery Road: Police at 9:44 a.m. on March 14 cited Jory T. Keating, 29, of Portage, for a sixth offense of operating after revocation, not having valid proof of insurance and non-registration of vehicle.
West Franklin Street: Police at 5:20 p.m. on March 14 referred a 12-year-old male for disorderly conduct after a physical altercation with family members.
New Pinery Road and Hiawatha Avenue: Police at 6:35 p.m. on March 14 arrested James R. Kitchen, 61, of Portage, on a charge of fourth offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
East Collins Street: Police at 1:45 p.m. on March 15 referred a 16-year-old male Portage High School student for harassment and two counts of disorderly conduct.
New Pinery Road: Police at 7:51 a.m. on March 16 cited Lilly R. Rober Zamudio, 19, of Portage, for a second offense of operating after license suspension and suspended vehicle registration.
West Carroll Street: Police at 8:44 p.m. on March 16 arrested a 21-year-old Portage female on two counts of domestic battery and two counts of domestic disorderly conduct. Police also referred a 22-year-old Portage male to the district attorney on suspicion of prior domestic violence incidents.
New Pinery Road: Police at 1:28 a.m. on Sunday cited Payge D. Colstad, 28, of Portage, for theft.
New Pinery Road: Police at 9:53 a.m. on Sunday cited Donavan D. Kirby, 21, of Endeavor, for a third offense of operating after license suspension.
Adams Street and East Pleasant Street: Police at 7:54 p.m. on Tuesday arrested Darrel R. Schade, 25, of Portage, on charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of paraphernalia and multiple counts of bail jumping.
Klemp Street: Police at 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday cited Taynnairis L. Colon, 21, of Portage, for possession of drug paraphernalia.
West Edgewater Street: Police at 9:07 a.m. on Wednesday cited Carlyle S. Otto, 44, of Merrimac, for a second offense of operating after license suspension.
East Emmett Street: Police at 1:50 a.m. on Thursday responded to a report of theft after a man said his toolbox and chainsaw had been taken from his unlocked Jeep that was parked behind his residence.
East Burns Street: Police at 1 p.m. on Thursday arrested Michael L. Ness, 31, of Portage, on a Sauk County warrant. Police also cited him for a first offense of operating after license suspension and not having valid proof of insurance.
Marachowsky Plaza and East Cook Street: Police at 8 p.m. on Thursday cited Melinda S. Matrick, 39, of Portage, for a third offense of operating after license suspension.
County Highway CX and Silver Lake Drive: Police at 12:10 a.m. on Friday arrested Kathleen L. Steger, 54, of Portage, on a charge of first offense of operating while intoxicated. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol level of 0.167.
