Colts Coach Mora Fined $10,000
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Colts coach Jim Mora was fined $10,000 by the NFL for criticizing the officiating in a loss to Miami on Nov. 11.
Mora had predicted the league would fine him for his comments after the 27-24 defeat.
``I thought the officiating was below average today, and I’ll take a fine for that,″ he said after the home game.
Mora cited two calls _ a challenge of Sam Madison’s interception in the first half that was not reversed and a non-call on a third-down pass with 5:30 left in the game.
Had interference been called, the pass from Peyton Manning to Marvin Harrison would have given the Colts a first down inside the Dolphins’ 15-yard line.
The Colts (4-5) play at home Sunday against San Francisco.
