Montana State 82, Ohio 66

MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Damon Ollie scored 29 points and had 12 rebounds in leading Montana State to an 82-66 victory over Ohio for third place Saturday in Marquette’s invitational tournament.

Montana State (4-1) also got 14 points from Nate Holmstadt. Ohio (1-3) was led by Sanjay Adell with 21 points and Dustin Ford 17.

Ohio trailed 56-42 after a basket by Ollie with about 12 minutes left, then outscored Montana State 13-3 and pulled within 59-55 on a 3-pointer by Adell. He scored eight points in the run.

Holmstadt made a pair of free throws and a basket to ignite a nine-point run that put the Bobcats on top at 68-55 with five minutes left. Ollie finished the surge with a three-point play.

Ollie made seven of 14 field attempts and scored 15 points to lead Montana State to a 39-28 halftime advantage.

Ohio’s Diante Flenorl tied the game 8-8 by making one of two free throws with 15:16 left in the half but a 13-2 run put Montana State ahead 21-10 with 10:32 left.

Dan Sullivan broke the tie and put the Bobcats in front for good with a 3-pointer with 15:05 remaining. Danny Sprinkle capped the rally with three free throws.
