Milford PD charge New Haven man in Target thefts

MILFORD-A New Haven man, already wanted for violating his probation, now faces charges of shoplifting nearly $1,600 worth of merchandise from the Target department store in the Connecticut Post Mall

Desmond Wilson, 27, of Goffee Street, New Haven, is being detained on $75,000 bond pending his appearance in Milford Superior Court, Police charged him with second-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree larceny, possession of a shoplifting device and violation of probation.

Police arrested Wilson Nov. 11 on a complaint from Target that he allegedly stole $1,600 worth of merchandise. They said some of the items were ripped from their packaging making them unable to be resold.
