MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) _ Ricky Robinson scored 26 points Saturday, leading West Virginia to a 95-85 win over Rutgers.

Robinson scored six points during an 8-0 run that gave West Virginia a 62-47 lead in the second half. The Mountaineers later had a 9-0 spurt that put them ahead 73-51, but Rutgers rallied by scoring 13 straight points to pull within 89-81 with 3:30 remaining.

Marsalis Basey scored 22 points for West Virginia, including 18 in the first half. Pervires Greene added 21 for the Mountaineers (16-9, 8-7 Atlantic 10).

Waliyy Dixon led Rutgers with 18, while Rich Ashmeade had 17 for the Scarlet Knights (10-15, 5-10).

Rutgers led most of the first half, but West Virginia pulled ahead with a 19-0 run that was capped by Zain Shaw’s 3-pointer. The Mountaineers led 43-37 at halftime.
