Police search for suspect in Salvation Army break-in
NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect who broke into a Rhode Island Salvation Army.
North Providence police were notified of the break-in at the store’s Smith Street location at around 9:45 p.m. Sunday.
Officers who arrived at the scene found the glass on the front door shattered, and two cash registers and two candy machines broken on the floor inside.
Police say the suspect made off with change from the candy machines.
Police have released photographs of the suspect taken from surveillance camera video.
