WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A 30-year-old Worcester man has been identified as the victim killed in a shooting at a city barbershop, and an arrest warrant has been issued for the alleged suspect.
Worcester police say Eliezer Rivera was the person gunned down Friday afternoon at the Fadeaway Barbershop. Authorities say Rivera got into an argument and fight with the suspect, who shot Rivera in the chest.
Police told the Telegram & Gazette of Worcester (http://bit.ly/1b4PV7d ) that they have identified the suspect and a murder warrant has been issue, but they believe the man may have fled the country. The suspect’s name hasn’t been released.
Records show Rivera also was shot in Southbridge last year during a reported argument over a stolen ATV. He was shot twice in the groin in that incident.
