Trailhead on council agenda
The Watertown Common Council will discuss a resolution to authorize an agreement for the Interurban Trailhead Building and Improvement Projects during its meeting tonight at 7 o’clock at the Watertown Municipal Building.
This resolution will authorize for engineering services for the parking lot, sidewalks and erosion control features of the project with Ruekert Mielke of Waukesha for a fee of $21,510.
The council will vote on two ordinances regarding parking restrictions. One ordinance calls for prohibition of parking on North Second Street in the area of Cady Street north to the bridge, and the second one prohibits parking on a section of Hospital Drive.
A number of resolutions will also be considered by the common council. There is a resolution to amend the Certified Survey Map for N9469 West Road to show a dedication of all portions of the property.
Another resolution would approve a change order for additional surveying, soil borings and design for the 1200 and 1300 blocks of Dakota Street by Robert E. Lee & Associates for $15,201.
The last resolution on the agenda is to award a contract to Koch’s Telecommunications Service Inc. to install fiber optic cables throughout the city.
