Crime blotter for Dec. 3

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An Aiken woman reported Saturday that she has been trying to rent a house through the internet and that she sent the person money as a down payment but she has not received keys and cannot get in touch with the person.

On Saturday, a Beech Island man reported a burglary at a home on Pine Log Road.

An Aiken woman reported Saturday that her home on Old Camp Road had been broken into while she was away for three weeks.

An Aiken woman reported a larceny at an Edgefield Highway store on Saturday.

An employee at a Jefferson Davis Highway store in Beech Island reported someone had stolen nine cases of water from outside the store Saturday.

A Lexington man reported his vehicle was stolen between Friday evening and Saturday morning from where he left it at an exit off Interstate 20.

A North Augusta man reported his vehicle was stolen and that his wife’s purse had been gone through inside the house between Friday night and Saturday morning on St. James Street.
