Sabres Resign Randy Burridge to a Three-Year Deal
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) _ The Buffalo Sabres agreed on a three-year contract with left wing Randy Burridge on Monday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Burridge, 30, was a pleasant surprise for the Sabres in a season when Buffalo failed to make the playoffs. The veteran scored 25 goals and had 33 assists to log the third-highest point total of his 11-year career.
``He is a terrific leader on this hockey club and also added scoring punch from the left side,″ Sabres general manager John Muckler said. ``We are committed to keeping the top players with our organization.″
