CENTREVILLE, Va. (AP) — Police say a northern Virginia man has died of injuries sustained during a fight outside a bar, and they are searching for two suspects wanted in an assault on another victim.

Fairfax County police said in a statement Sunday that up to 50 people are believed to have witnessed what happened outside a bar in Centreville early Saturday morning.

Police were called for a possible stabbing and found 27-year-old Harold Garnett of Centreville injured. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead Saturday evening.

A suspect, 38-year-old Vidal Flores Cuchillas of Centreville, was arrested and was being held without bond. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney.

Police say they believe Cuchillas and two other unidentified men also assaulted a 26-year-old man before fleeing. That victim had minor injuries.

The outstanding suspects aren't wanted in Garnett's killing.
