— NEW JERSEY BEAR HUNT — The annual bear hunt in New Jersey begins Monday but is expected to be greatly reduced following an order by the governor barring black bear hunting on state-owned lands.

— FATAL HEAD-ON CRASH — Authorities have released the names of three people killed in a head-on collision in southern New Jersey.

— DEMOLITION FIRM OFFICIAL-FRAUD — A former senior vice president of a national demolition company has admitted accepting more than $300,000 in bribes from officials at a New Jersey-based scrap metal company to steer business to that firm.

— ROBBERY ATTEMPT-CLOWN MASK — Police in New Jersey say a gas station clerk fought off an armed robber and sent the suspect fleeing without any cash.
