DENVER — Three people have been arrested for allegedly starting a Colorado wildfire by leaving an unauthorized campfire unattended. The Teller County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that 23-year-old David Renfrow, 19-year-old Kegan Owens and a 17-year-old boy were arrested in connection with a fire that has destroyed at least eight homes. —WYOMING WILDFIRES— Firefighters are battling a wildfire ignited by lightning in northern Wyoming. The fire began Sunday on Bureau of Land Management land in Washakie County and spread quickly to an estimated 15 square miles.
—ABSENTEE VOTING — The Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office says absentee voting is now open for the August primary election. Wyoming allows any registered Wyoming voter the ability to request and then cast an absentee ballot through their county clerk either by mail or in-person at a county clerk’s office.
