Waupun Police Beat, 1-18 to 1-20, 2019
Traffic stop — Friday at 4:25 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on South Watertown Street at East Lincoln Street. A 27-year-old Juneau woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substances.
Welfare check — Saturday at 7:57 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 300 block of South Grove Street for a suicidal subject. Police made contact with a 37-year-old Waupun man and a safety plan was put into place by Dodge County Human Services.
Welfare check — Saturday at 9:14 p.m., police responded to the area of West Main Street and County Park Road for a subject under mental health distress. Police made contact with a 39-year-old Randolph man and the man was placed into protective custody. He was transported to a mental health facility.
Disturbance — Sunday at 11:07 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 300 block of Edgewood Drive for a report of a physical domestic disturbance. Police made contact with the victim and learned the suspect left prior to arrival. The suspect, a 34-year-old Waupun woman, was located in Fond du Lac by Fond du Lac Police. The woman was transported to Fond du Lac County Jail and held on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and battery.
Traffic stop — Sunday at 9:25 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Fox Lake Road at West Brown Street. A 23-year-old Fox Lake man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
