Police investigate fatal head-on collision in Maine
RAYMOND, Maine (AP) — Police in Maine say a 30-year-old woman died in a head-on collision in her hometown.
Police say the crash happened on Monday morning in Raymond and killed Dioni Javiera Araya Arriagada. Police say she was driving with no passengers in her car and an initial investigation shows she traveled off the side of the roadway on a curve on Cape Road. She then overcorrected and traveled into the path of a vehicle towing a trailer.
Police say the driver of the other vehicle and his passenger were not injured. Both vehicles were totaled. The crash is still under investigation.
