NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) _ If the ladies at Cluttered Closet ever read a wedding announcement that says the bride wore blue-striped boxers, they'll know they've found their thief.

The shop reported to police that a 360-pound red-haired man dressed in women's clothing took a size 24 wedding dress. The $399 dress was probably slipped out of a bathroom door while the man, and two other friends dressed in drag, perused the shop.

The big bride-to-be had come to the shop several weeks ago and tried on the dress on with the help of store owner Traci Laduke. Laduke noticed the man's blue and white stripped boxers during the fitting. It didn't fit _ the dress would only zip to the waist.

``He commented that he didn't have the right undergarments on,'' Laduke said.

The man and one of his friends returned to the shop on Thursday and tried on some more dresses, a Pasco County Sheriff's report said. When they left, another clerk at the store noticed the wedding dress was missing.

``If I see them on the street, I know who they are,'' Laduke said.
