WVC VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP: Dallas Tops Lake-Lehman To Stay Unbeaten

At Lake-Lehman, Dallas remained unbeaten (8-0), dispatching of the host Black Knights in three sets.

Sam Michael led a balanced offense with 12 kills. Gianna Musto was right behind her with 11.

Musto recorded a triple-double on the night, adding 10 digs and 12 points. Michael had eight points and three blocks.

Emma Burger dished out 25 assists to go with seven digs and Lyndsey Hornlein added 10 points.

Macenzi Barker led Lake-Lehman with eight kills, while Corinna Scoblick had 21 digs and Jess Salus had 12 points.

Hazleton Area 3, Crestwood 1

At Hazleton Area, Candice Biesadesky led Hazleton Area’s offense with 12 kills while serving 12 points.

Maddison Plesh had seven kills, 16 digs and 11 points while Faith Grula had 12 points to go with five kills and five digs.

Brooke Boretski had 28 assists, 14 digs and five kills.

Crestwood was led by Kristen Kania with eight kills. Makayla Breslin tossed up 16 assists while Carly Bono had 10 points.

At Holy Redeemer, the hosts surrendered only 12 points the entire match.

Skylar Osenkarski put down 11 kills to lead Holy Redeemer’s offense. Julia Andrejko added six kills and Alyson Rymar chipped in two.
